Mujeres en encaje

Los artistas organizan exposiciones, los galeristas dibujan, pintan o realizan esculturas. Donde antes existían roles muy restrictivos, reina hoy una gran libertad. También Evelyne Walker, fundadora de la galería Vitrine, lleva más de 20 años de carrera artística. Muchos aficionados a la cultura conocen sus series sobre mujeres en trajes tradicionales y artesanos. Ahora, presenta a ocho mujeres elegantemente vestidas con voluminosos sombreros o peinados enjoyados; rostros expresivos encuadrados en superficies que parecen cinceladas y cuyos patrones se orientan a los bordados. – Los ocho retratos femeninos se completan con una instalación que gira en torno a la figura dorada de una abadesa y por una tienda “pop up” de un convento. Las esencias, los aceites y las compotas que elabora la artista de forma casera ayudan a pasar el largo y frío invierno y pueden adquirirse en el vernissage.
