Frauen in Spitzen

Künstler organisieren Ausstellungen, Galeristen zeichnen, malen oder schaffen Skulpturen. Wo es früher einengende Rollen gab, herrscht heute die grosse Freiheit. Auch Evelyne Walker, die Gründerin der Galerie Vitrine, ist seit mehr als 20 Jahren künstlerisch tätig. Viele Kulturinteressierte kennen ihre Serien über Trachtendamen und Handwerker. Jetzt zeigt sie acht edel gekleidete Frauen mit ausladenden Hüten oder prachtvoll geschmückten Frisuren; ausdrucksstarke Gesichter gerahmt von scheinbar ziselierten Flächen, deren Muster sich an Stickereien orientieren. – Ergänzt werden die acht Frauenportraits durch eine Installation rund um eine vergoldete Äbtissinnenfigur sowie durch einen Pop-up-Klosterladen. Die von der Künstlerin hausgemachten Essenzen, Öle und Kompotte helfen durch einen langen, kalten Winter und sind an der Vernissage käuflich zu erwerben.
