Lena und ihr Puppenheim 

«Die Maschen emanzipieren sich, eine reiht sich an die andere, und ich bin nur noch der Ausführende», sagt der in Genf wohnhafte Künstler Jürg Benninger. Was herauskommt sind gehäkelte Traumgestalten: bizarre Köpfe zu Gruppen arrangiert, fallende Körper oder siamesische Zwillinge, die anstelle von Gesichtern Hüte tragen. Manche von Benningers Stoffskulpturen sind so klein wie der verschupfte Bodybuilder Paul, andere sind raumfüllend wie die Drächin Lena. Acht Meter misst das Wesen, bei dem dort, wo auch Drachen einen Kopf haben müssten, ein gehäkelter Saugnapf sitzt.
