Disturbed Cut Flowers
The real volcanic saffron, the hanging
the hanging starwort, the crazy tissue paperling or the
the fine lantern: the flowers in Jesco
Tscholitsch's private herbarium are neither
neither scientifically described nor
discoverable. On a trip to the tropical country
Costa Rica, the Lucerne artist
collected native plants, dissected them
the parts - stems, leaves and blossoms - onto paper and
and blossoms - onto paper and photographed them
backlight. From these flowers with disturbing factors
he let grow layer by layer new objects:
disturbed cut flowers with fantastic
names.
