Tea, Love and Peace
The summer is saying its goodbyes. The time for wool jumpers, candles and tea parties is just around the corner. Galerie Vitrine exhibits porcelain bowls by Angela Burkhardt-Guallini to kick off the autumn season. The Lucerne-based porcelain artist works with different colours of ceramic mass, from which she fires objects with unique patterns. This neriage technique, originally from Japan, is as old as the two artists whose works we use to shape the verticals are young: Barbora Kotríková (born in 1996) and Sven Geisser (born in 2000). The pair explore new possibilities between portraiture, oil painting and impressionism in a live-in studio in Emmenbrücke. The common denominator that unites the three artists? It’s very simple: tea, tranquillity and plenty of warmth in their hearts.
