Simply "paint" "paint" "paint" was the concept behind Pat Treyer's application for a grant from the Canton of Lucerne. This is fitting for an artist who does not pursue painting but lives by this more than almost anyone else. The jury announced its decision on 9 November: it awarded Pat with the highest endowed grant in the free art category. Subsequently, two large-scale works were on display for almost two weeks in the 2020 zentral! exhibition – until the Museum of Art had to close again on 22 December. But the virus is not to have the last word on this matter: we have decided to bring forward her long-planned exhibition at Galerie Vitrine. In addition to the paintings from the annual exhibition, Pat will show new recent works. We're looking forward to it!
