The Magic of Flowers Embroideries
Eve Lene is showing twelve portraits of women. She was inspired by carved wooden frames from the last century. The objects trouvés provided the outlines for works on which eyes, faces, flowers and colours try to outshine each other. The two exhibition guests also stand for the creative interplay of handicraft and artistic design:/p>
The stylist and textile designer Angela Spaeti is showing a selection of her embroidery portraits and Ursula Waldburger is presenting textile pictures straddling the boundaries of computer-aided image processing and traditional embroidery.
