About works
It is a type of painting where two plastic formulae coexist, complementing and supporting
each other, and sometimes lending each other’s values. A contrast is created between the
free, gestural, informal and the concrete, sometimes folk-inspired. It is an abstract
contrast, lyrical, intuitive, expressive, based on an automatic dictation and a rational one,
with concrete, clear, geometrical forms...
