FLYING AND FALLING
At Galerie Vitrine, Thomas Baggenstos from Merlischachen brings together his two great passions, exploring through his sculptural objects the tools, bodies, structures, and strategies of fishing. With rods, harpoons, fish traps, flies, and nets, he captures fish suspended in a moment of stillness.
Flying and Falling is also the theme of the new acrylic paintings by Lucerne artist Pat Treyer. Her works explore the metaphorical interplay between lightness and gravity, joy and sorrow, while becoming strikingly tangible in her painting Woman Flying (2024).
The opening of this two-person exhibition will be accompanied—as could hardly be otherwise—by a musical duo: singer Kamila Iwanski and harpist Felix Widrig.
