HORIZONS — OPEN FIELD
In the summer of 2022, artists from Switzerland and Germany gathered in Gleina, Saxony-Anhalt, for a collaborative art project. Felix Schenker (arttv), originally from the Canton of Uri, made his castle available as a creative workspace. During the day, the artists devoted themselves to their work, while evenings of cultural events and shared culinary experiences fostered artistic exchange between Switzerland and Germany.
The project concluded with a performance by Claudia Bucher in the castle courtyard. From 6 May, Galerie Vitrine presents a selection of works created during the residency. The exhibition is complemented by a film essay by documentary filmmaker Esther Heeb, who documented the project throughout its duration. The opening will once again feature a live performance by Claudia Bucher.
