The world in miniature
Art can be overwhelming – but it need not be. At times, it is more powerful when it forces the beholder to look very carefully, as is the case with the miniatures by the Lucerne artist couple Jasmin Hofmann and Mark Sasvary. The two members of the artists’ collective Sirup work in 25 by 25 millimetre format. They have created around 2500 artworks and applied each to a black wooden cube. The cubes will be available for purchase at Galerie Vitrine individually, in pairs or in groups. Line them up or stack them; they tell a new story in each form and create for the beholder a miniature world of plants, animals, people and landscapes.
