Natural talents
One is from eastern Switzerland, the other came from Zurich. The "Kunsti", at that time still in the Sentimatt, brought them together and they never lost sight of each other. We are talking about Raphael Egil and Jeroen Geel. Today they live with their families in the same neighborhood and both work in representational contemporary painting. Mutual studio visits led to the question whether their oil paintings - side by side in an exhibition - would have something to tell each other. The Vitrine Gallery is now putting this to the test. Among others, Raphael Egil's work "Rembrandt with Bittern 5" will be on display, while Jeroen Geel will show small-format paintings from the series "In the Forest".
