VANISHING POINT
Competition is good for business: in its summer exhibition *Fantastic Flying Objects*, the Hans Erni Museum is showcasing a floating Hofkirche by Camilo Villalvilla Soto. In August, the exhibition continues at Galerie Vitrine, featuring the Arc de Triomphe, New York’s Chrysler Building and other iconic structures. Villalvilla Soto, a Cuban architect, graphic designer and conceptual artist now living in the USA, presents familiar objects that we have seen a thousand times before from radically new perspectives. His large-format etchings and drawings shift the viewer’s vanishing point.
Angela Burkhardt-Guallini is showcasing her work in the shop window: layered, cut and reassembled porcelain masses coalesce into ceramic bowls featuring organic patterns.
