On October 5, 2022, Allan Porter, the renowned photographer who brought the Swiss art magazine "Camera" to international renown as editor-in-chief, passed away. In his honor, I am showing a series of his photographs of jazz greats such as Chet Baker and Gary Mulligan, alongside one of his legendary tapestries. Allan's son Alex Porter also works with light. From him I present another, this time colored series of his "digital etchings". He draws them with a pen on the screen of his iPad, which he exhibits as limited edition art prints. "Lichtbildkunst" is more than a collaborative exhibition. It is an intergenerational project unlike anything ever seen in the showcase.
