There are painters and sculptors who have an infinity of resources to draw on. We are overwhelmed by their drive to embrace the cosmos. But there also are artists who keep their distance from the universe. They do not reproduce their environment but they treat it, they reduce and shape it. So do Pat Treyer and Thomas Baggenstos. From models of humans and animals they obtain forms which have never be seen before. At Galerie Vitrine they demonstrate what happens when these peculiar images are mirrored in one another.
