Pat Treyer (*1956, Lucerne, Switzerland) is a performance artist, draughtswoman, and painter. Since the 1980s, she has developed a distinctive artistic practice in which painting and performance merge in a compelling way. Her figurative visual language is characterised by expressive brushwork, a restrained colour palette, and an immediate emotional presence. In recognition of her outstanding contribution to painting, she received the Canton of Lucerne Art Grant in 2020. Her works are held in important public and private collections and invite reflection on the human condition.
