Jesco Tscholitsch

Our material needs are met by an affluent consumer society. But what about our secret wishes? Our   dream of being a superhero? The fantasy about kissing ourselves?   These are the thoughts which the 41 years old Lucerne artist Jesco Tscholitsch expresses in his photographic work.  The two series of portraits are called “Superhero” and “Kiss yourself”. They show the ephemeral moment of wish fulfilment.  Tscholitsch has fastened the large pictures with wall paper paste on industrially produced honey comb boards.
