André Schuler

André Schuler (*Lyon, France) lives and works in Lucerne, Switzerland. His sculptural and installation-based works are characterised by a reduced visual language that transforms everyday objects into surprising and multilayered compositions. Through subtle interventions, he questions perception, reality, and the limits of what is visible. After studying at the Lucerne School of Art and Design, he was awarded artist residencies at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris and the Central Switzerland Artists' Residency in Berlin.
